“Timesheets by Tempo” is a Jira Time Trackingapp that can be easily integrated with Report HUB. It will allow you to get all worklogs from your existing Timesheets by Tempo app to build various reports.

Integration Steps

  1. Generating Tempo Access Token

    • Click the ‘Apps’ in dropdown found in the navigation bar and Click ‘Tempo’

  1. Find the 'API Integration' tab within the Settings page.

    • Click on the 'New Token' button.

    • Provide a name for the token.

    • Copy the generated token.

  1. Open the Settings Page in Report HUB.

    • Go to ‘Apps’ → ‘Manage your apps’.

    • From the left side find a ‘Report HUB’ and click on it.

  1. Integrating

    • Open Settings Page.

    • Find the 'Tempo API' input field on the Settings Page of the Report HUB app.

    • Paste the copied access token into this field.

When your team uses “Timesheets by Tempo” to log time, worklogs are stored within the Tempo app and are not directly saved in Jira under individual users. Instead, these worklogs are associated with the Tempo Timesheets user in Jira.

As a result, reports such as Timesheet and Time Spent in Jira do not display worklogs per individual user. Since our reports rely on Jira’s native time-tracking data, they cannot retrieve or attribute worklogs correctly when they are stored exclusively within Tempo.
