Report Usage

This report comes in the form of a bar chart report. It shows the number of hours spent on issues by each user for the chosen period. On the Y-axis user can see the number of hours and on the X-axis the user can see user names, who have time logged for issues for worklogs during this period.

Specific functionality:

• To see amount the number of issues and number of hours total time spent by each person, the user can hover over the bar, tooltip will appear.

• To quickly change a time segment user can use the date bar swap at the top of the report.

• User The user is able to open the report by issues for which specific person spent time. detailed issue view with the time spent on each issue for the specific person by clicking on a his bar.

• After clicking on a person's bar, user can see all issues on which this person spent time.Next to the date bar swap, there is a dropdown selector for quickly changing the selected period in the report. Changes made using this selector are temporary and do not affect the report's saved configuration.

• At the top of the report user can see the person`s name and the same date bar swap for changing a time segment.

• While hovering the bar, a tooltip appears. It shows the issue summary and time spent on this issue.

• User The user is able to see all worklogs in the pop-up with all time logs by clicking on a an issue bar.

Setting up a report

Report The report has 3 tabs of configurations: Data source, Parameters, Description.

Data source

In this tab we can choose to get issues either by project, saved filter or JQL. Those are required fields.

In this tab user can choose “Period“ and “Users to display“.

Allow users to tailor the report to their specific needs and preferences.

The Period field is required. It lets the user select the time unit to customize the displayed users' time logs and issues on which time was spent. “Users to display“ field let users select specific users from the list to customize and display their data in By default, it will be set as a Months.

Description

It serves as a space where users can provide context, explanations, and additional information about the report.

Description let lets the user add any additional information less no more than 500 characters about the created report.
The description will be presented directly on the report card (in case of its presence).
