Report Name: Release progress.

Usage: This report comes in the form of bar chart reports. It represent the progress by versions in a bar. The user is able to see partial distribution of tasks related to a specific version by their status (To do, In progress, Done). Versions often represent distinct releases or iterations, allowing you to filter and analyze data based on particular milestones or updates.

Specific functionality:

  • While we hover the bar tooltip appears. It shows total number of issues, start date, release date, number of tasks and their percentage.

Setting up a report

Report has 5 tabs of configurations: Data source, Display, Description.

Data source:

In this tab user can choose projects and versions that are related to them.

This report is called Issues by Status fixed version, and on this report we show statuses of each version that are unreleased. Unreleased versions are the project versions that have been created but not yet released. A single bar in this report works the same as the Issues by status category where each issue is categorized by its status (Todo, InProgress, Done).


For instance we have two bars on the above chart representing two unreleased versions. The names of these unreleased versions are shown on the Y-axis the bar (v1,v2).
In addition to that the names on the Y-axis are clickable links that will redirect the user to the unreleased version.

When you hover over a bar chart a tooltip appears that will show the number of issues in the status and the name of the unreleased version.
