Report Usage
This report comes in the form of bar chart report. It shows the number of hours spent on issues by each user for the chosen period. On the Y-axis user can see the number of hours and on the X-axis the user can see user names, who have time logged for issues for this period.
Specific functionality:
To see amount of issues and number of hours spent by each person, user can hover over the bar, tooltip will appear.
To quickly change a time segment user can use date bar swap at the top of the report.
User is able to open the report by issues for which specific person spent time. by clicking on a bar.
After clicking on a person's bar, user can see all issues on which this person spent time.
On the Y-axis user can see the number of hours and on the X-axis the user can see tickets key.
At the top of the report user can see person`s name and the same date bar swap for changing a time segment.
While hovering the bar, tooltip appears. It shows issue summary and time spent on this issue.
User is able to see the pop-up with all time logs by clicking on a issue bar.
Setting up a report
Report has 3 tabs of configurations: Data source, Parameters, Description.
Data source
In this tab we can choose to get issues either by project, saved filter or JQL. Those are required fields.
Parameters
In this tab user can choose “Period“ and “Users to display“.
“Period“ field is required. It lets user select the time unit to customize the displayed users time logs and issues on which time was spent. By default it will be setted as a week.
“Users to display“ field let users select specific users from the list to customize and display their data in the report. By default there will be all users included.
Description
Description let user add any additional information less than 500 characters about created report.
The description will be presented directly on the report card ( in case of its presence).
