Report Usage

This report comes in the form of a bar chart report. It can be used for SCRUM teams. It represents the workload of Jira users who have any workload for the chosen sprint. Specific functionality:

  • On the report card user is able to change Sprints. There is a dropdown that shows all Sprints related to the chosen board. Moreover, it shows active, future, and completed sprints.

  • At the top, there is a total value from every user compared to the set capacity.

  • The report contains the board name of the chosen one at the top. By clicking on it, you will be redirected to this board in Jira.

  • While hovering the bar, a tooltip appears. It shows capacity, assigned workload, available workload, and excessive workload.

  • If the capacity is 0, it is not shown on the report. In this case, all bars are going to be the same color due to the hub color theme.

“Workload type” field is required. There are a few options:

  • Story Point: shows the units for expressing an estimate of the overall effort required to resolve all issues in a sprint.

  • Original Estimate: shows the estimated time that that user has specified.

  • Remaining Estimate: shows the time that is left to complete the task from the original estimate.

“Sprint capacity“sets the amount of work that each team member can commit to completing a sprint. By default, the value is 0. When the value is 0, it will not be shown in the report.
